Back and second floor addition built on 1-1/2 storey midtown house created enough space to accommodate just about anyone and anything.

At the first thing you see, the multi-textured exterior sets the tone for the house. It leaves a lasting impression, creating the curb appeal that brings price and imparts value. In this contemporary home, warm walnut siding compliments the neutral-tone stone and stucco.  At the same time, windows frames and horizontal lines of the flat roof embrace the trend of sharp black lines.

Custom home features

As far as space-enhancing tricks go, installing wider planks is, probably, one of the easiest to execute. In this case, we installed extra wide engineered hardwood planks (8.5’’ wide). We also chose extra wide floor tiles in the washrooms, which helped to shift the focus of a bathroom size towards its appeal.

This project features a custom-designed dry sauna build with top quality cedar wood.

Custom kitchen cabinetry is one of the costly elements in this custom home. We equipped the kitchen with BLUM hardware, plenty of drawers, LENMAN corner insert, double row of the cabinets on top. Kitchen was custom-made and shipped directly from our partners in Europe. To stay in the budget, we selected affordable yet modern looking acrylic glossy facades. We really like how lights are reflected in the dark parts.

Custom build fireplace wall accentuates the home with its simplicity and elegance. The biggest challenge was not the design though. The exterior wall (where the fireplace is installed in) is only 7’’ away from the neighbour house. We designed and executed the duct work to comply with Ontario Building Code without affecting the curb appeal.  

The house interior also includes central Eco-friendly Vacuum system, modern LED lighting throughout, sound speakers, and custom closet organizers. The millwork in this house is the true reflection of the finest quality craftsmanship of our team
